Section B: Descriptive Writing

  • Write a description inspired by this image: (Describe a setting, such as a bustling market, a stormy coastline, or a peaceful forest. Replace with an actual image in an exam scenario.)

  • Describe a place that feels magical to you. This could be real or imaginary. Focus on using vivid imagery and sensory details.

  • Write a description of a person you have never met but imagine vividly.

  • Describe the atmosphere of a city just before dawn.

  • Write a description of a dramatic weather event. Use sensory language to bring the scene to life.

    Section B: Narrative Writing

    Write a story that begins with the sentence, "The letter had been lying unopened on the table for days."

    Write a story about a journey that didn’t go as planned.

    Write a story in which a character has to make a difficult choice.

    Write a story set in a world where something important is missing, such as sunlight, memories, or trust.

    Write a story that ends with the sentence, "And that’s why they could never return."

  • Write about a time when someone did something unforgettable for you.

  • Write about the consequences of a sudden unexpected event.

  • Write about a character who finds something they weren’t supposed to.
